About Scott Fedan

Scott began working on cars as a child helping his father and uncle, he was very curious about how they worked. As he became older, he started working on go carts and dirt bikes, eventually become the go to “kid” to fix his friends machines. Not only did he fix them, Scott began figuring out how to get more horsepower and performance. As Scott got older, he began working more on automobiles, including his own. Scott’s affinity for mechanical works and performance led him to a seasoned mechanic who took Scott under his wings and provided him with the knowledge and knowhow to begin working on Domestic, Foreign and High Performance vehicles including race cars. This fed the need for Scott’s attraction to precision and performance which could only lead to one place, the race track. Scott began building and racing cars competitively. During this time, he continued to increase his knowledge and skills working on automobiles and small engines.

Scott Fedan is a perfectionist and his work shows this. Although he no longer races competitively, Scott now helps others achieve their dreams on the track by servicing and building others racing dreams. When you stop by Scotts Garage you may well see a 1,500 horsepower machine with the heads off, sitting next to a lift with a Toyota Corolla receiving its recommended service.  The importance in this? Attention to detail.

After growing up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, he knew he had to head south for warmer weather. Scott’s family had vacationed in Myrtle Beach, SC since he was a child, simple enough, great beach, great weather, not too far, so he moved. After investigation, he found that he actually liked Loris much better than the crowds of Myrtle Beach. Scott has been married for 16 years and has a son.

"Anyone that knows me, knows that I have an extreme passion for fixing automobiles and small engines, "

-Scott Fedan-

While in Loris, SC, Scott approached Hoyte and Paulette who owned the Western Auto and was hired on the spot as they could tell he was more than qualified to become the new mechanic. In his 20 years as mechanic at Western Auto of Loris, SC, Scott became the go to guy for automobile service and small engine repair. 20 years later, Hoyte and Paulette retired and Scott took on the business himself and formed Scott’s Garage LLC.

“It could not have worked out better” states Scott Fedan, “I know this garage like the back of my hand and have built a relationship with many of customers in the Loris and surrounding areas. It was a perfect fit, I could stay in the same garage, same tools and embark on my life long dream of owning my own garage. The rest is history in the making!
